The Ithaca Group was originally part of a software house, which was acquired by NatWest Group in May 1997. After a management buy-out and re-organisation, Ithaca Solutions was formerlly created as an independent limited company in April 2000.

Ithaca has been involved in a number of projects for financial institutions and governments in UK and USA.

It is now embarking on a new period of growth whereby it provides consultancy services and software, mainly to Unisys customers. To do this it has partnered with providers in USA and has become the reseller for their products.

This will involve Ithaca in a number of sales promotions such as appearing at Unisys's Future Matters conferences.
